Five Okras are currently in production.

Watermelon is growing and crawling everywhere.

We have cleared some tilapia and jade perches last week. Left around 10 tilapia and one or two jade perches in the tank.

Watermelon is crawling here and there as you can see... We have no idea when it is going to be fruiting....maybe it did just didn't make it.

Okra... These Okras are growing too slow compare to those we used to have.. Will ditch this in the future for sure. We are still considering what's next...stay tuned.

We have unplugged the old cucumbers in growbed Two and shifted a cucumber seedling to growbed one.

An aloe vera seedling transplanted to growbed three.

So far, we have Two pumpkins from growbed Four.

The Cabbages in growbed five and six are starting to grow their cores.

Currently, having low production from two plants and observed that another two are flowering.

The size for these Okras are smaller and shorter than what we have previously.

Currently, we have watermelon, cherry tomatoes and another two okras are flowering...

Two Okras are in low production. Looks like these Okras are not as productive as those normal Okras we used to plant... Moreover, they are shorter and smaller in size.

Let's have a quick run thru on our main system.

Transplant all the seedlings from our mini nursery...next coming up chili and Cucumbers...

Planning to stop the French Bean in growbed One for one or two sessions for improvement.

Next focus will be on Pumpkins... We have cut off 5 rotten fruits in the past few weeks. What left is the big long one for now...the rest might hitting the same issue... Starting to have the sign of nutrient deficiency...

Aquaponics : Wrap Up For March 2017

Let's have a look at stats for last month, March 2017.

Until now, from our AP sets, they don't  look like profitable to us.

The fixed cost we have to maintain these system are about RM120. And current yield shows that we don't even have a chance to break even.

Poorly managed? We leave it to you to decide.

Aquaponics : When two or three of our growbed flush

This video shows when there are two to three of our growbed is performing their flushing to the Sump Tank every 7 mins. 

The aerated water will be pump back to the rearing tank with the rate of 4kl/h.

Watermelon!!!! But don't think it is gonna give us any for consumption.

Cherry tomatoes are flowering and should be fruiting in two weeks. We will transplant more from the nursery when time comes. This growbed seven is meant for cherry tomatoes.

Okra in growbed eight and nine are starting to pick up. There are currently two in the growbed nine are now producing...

Cucumbers and French beans are now old enough to have them pulled off. We plan to observe them for another week.

For long Squash We are still facing the same rotting fruits issue with Squash...

There is also a broccoli in the growbed six.

We insisted to leave the Watermelon alone and let it grows itself.

The young cherry tomato plants are growing slightly slower than normal. We have no idea what is happening to this set of AP we have here.

The Okras are having the same slow growing issue.

Observed that some issue on growbed Three which causing the cucumbers to dehydrated... Have really no idea what is happening there as ebb and flow are running perfectly there. What was done to counter this was water them manually and observe for few more days.

Expecting cucumbers to be reaching their peak in the coming week.

One of the pumpkin is fruiting and not sure if the fruit will stay healthy as having Thunderstorm for the past few days in the area. Furthermore, iron deficiency is observed in this growbed.
